Editing Gig Information
This guide will help you understand how to change the stage and status of your gig, and how to edit basic information.
Overview
After adding a gig in GiGS, you'll need to update its information as you progress through the sales process.
Editing Stage and Status Information
- Navigate to the gig's detailed view.
- Click on the Edit Stage or Edit Status button in the middle of the record to open the editing window.
- In the window that appears, select the appropriate stage or status for your gig. Options include:
- Status Options - This is the standing of the gig on your calendar:
- Inquiry
- Date on Hold
- Confirmed
- Completed
- Lost
- Abandoned
- Stage Options - This is the level of communication you've had with the client about the gig :
- Lead
- Initial Contact Complete
- Theme Call Complete
- Session Description Sent
- Speaker Agreement Sent
- Speaker Agreement Signed
- Status Options - This is the standing of the gig on your calendar:
- For example, if you've connected with the client, you might change the Stage from Lead to Initial Contact Complete and the Status from Inquiry to Date On Hold.
- Your changes are automatically saved. Click the X to close the window.
Editing Additional Gig Information
- Viewing Additional Gig Information:
- Go to the Info tab to view details such as attendees, lead source, industry, and whether the event is private, the theme and the description of the event.
- Modifying Information:
- Click the Edit Info button in the More Info section.
- Update the information fields as needed. For instance:
- Change the industry to Tourism and Leisure Travel.
- Specify the LeadSource, e.g., Stageside Lead.
- If the event is not open to the public, click the Private checkbox.
- Click the Update button to save the changes.
